At the Healing Arts Cafe we want to provide an online source for Healing Arts providers in your area along with articles, books and news related to the Healing Arts.
I went to school at Naropa University and graduated with a Master’s degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy. As a Contemplative psychotherapist, part of my view on health and wellbeing is holistic. Maintaining a healthy balance involves paying attention to all aspects of our mind and body. So I am very interested in helping clients get connected with other health providers that can help facilitate healing and balance. Most of the time, referrals are by word of mouth. It is difficult to find a Healing Arts professional unless you know someone who knows someone, etc. My referrals come from professionals that I have worked with personally or are recommended by someone I trust.
For nearly 10 years I have been involved with online directory listing and advertising. My experience has been that the internet is the most cost effective and accessible way for professionals and consumers to connect. I had a vision of creating the Healing Arts Cafe but I couldn’t reconcile how to do the web stuff by myself. A timely conversation with my brother, Bill, made me think that my vision could actually be made a reality. His 30 years experience with computer programming and recent web blog baby: www.soaringcafe.com made The Healing Arts Cafe a project worth pursuing.
We had many conversations about the importance of the web and how it is becoming a major way that professionals and consumers find each other. Bill and I have referred a lot of our favorite Healing Arts professionals to each other over the years. We both love connecting our friends with these professionals too. Our goal is to provide a listing of professionals in a variety of the Healing Arts. The home page will contain articles written by these professionals on topics that interest them and hopefully you. We think it is important that when seeking a professional, a personal can also search and read articles by the professionals in our directory. That way, people can find a Healing Arts professional who will most closely fit their needs. The Healing Arts Cafe will also post interesting news, books and local happenings in your area.
Thanks for visiting our site!
