Narcissistic behavior of not taking responsibility for one’s actions, boasting accomplishments and downright self-referential absorption is readily seen on daytime and weeknight television. This unhealthy attitude can lead to bad behavior that seems to be more acceptable to the masses. The virtue of humility, kindness and thoughtfulness in the public personality is becoming more marginalized. This has a trickle down affect and influences how we behave and what behavior we find acceptable.
